Here is an opportunity to join me in helping out our community.
Wednesday December 14, from 1-4 pm:
I, along with other friends, will be donating time to volunteer at the Food Bank of Northeast Arkansas.
Many family heads are struggling to provide food for their loved ones. This time of year it is especially important that they are given some hope for change. The Food Bank is always in need of volunteers, and a few hours from us will go a long way!
If enough people want to attend, I plan on everyone sharing in some pizza afterwards.
Hoping to hear from you. <3

This is my band’s first recording. I hope you enjoy it!Played 0 times.
We hope that today is a good day, a day spent with family and friends and a day to pause with thanks. We know for some it’s not, or it’s simply not that simple.
To everyone heavy with the weight of things missing or fractured today,
It doesn’t mean you’re ungrateful or unthankful.
It only means…
Check out my band if you haven’t. I am very passionate about what we do, and we LOVE any opportunity to connect with any of you.
Take a moment to view the Mark Twain quote I previously posted. I find that quote to carry a lot of meaning. There are many things I want to do in my lifetime, three of them being to explore, dream, and discover.
The subject I want to focus on is the idea of dreaming. I have many dreams, but one of my greatest is to make a significant impact in our world. I believe the best way to make an impact is by creating action that those around you can relate to and believe in.
If I begin volunteering at a soup kitchen, maybe a friend of mine will say, “I’ve always wanted to do that, and now that I see Brett doing this, I want to do it as well.” Then maybe their friend will say the same thing, and it has the potential to become greater and greater, possibly even catching on in other areas.
Here is my plan. I am going to begin planning a day each month, where I will go out and volunteer at a couple of local non-profit organizations. Through this I want to give back to the community, as well as encourage volunteering among my friends and peers.
So I extend this invitation to you. Nothing is set in stone at the moment, that will come soon though. Contact me here, on Facebook, or Twitter. I would love the support, and I think we can do something great.
I would absolutely LOVE to go here.
The River Aar flows past the idyllic Swiss town of Thun (pronounced ‘toon’).
I’m BRETT HUNT. Pretty exciting right? I’m currently a 23 year old public relations major at Arkansas State University.
A few things that mean the world to me:
I play bass guitar in a band called Slaughtering the Sick. Check it out at www.facebook.com/slaughteringthesick1.
I like to ramble on Twitter, so follow that as well :) @brettryanhunt
I am graduating in May, and would love to work in the music industry. Living in Northeast Arkansas, my dreams will probably require me to relocate, which I somewhat look forward to. I want to get out and experience new places and see what life is like under different circumstances.
Maybe we can all learn about each other through this site, so stay tuned.

This is me. It’s November and I am not shaving. I feel pretty scraggly.
